About the Period of Recognised Training Exemption
The Equivalent Means route is a Period of Recognised Training (PRT) exemption recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). It allows you to satisfy the PRT requirement without completing a formal training contract, by demonstrating that your experience is equivalent to the competencies gained during a training contract.
